Before Bobby hired him to sing Conjunction
Junction I had only known Jack as a great west coast jazz trumpeter.
I'd heard him playing with Stan Kenton's band and Shelly Manne and other
small groups. And I knew he'd worked with singers of the importance
of Frank Sinatra, Mel Torme,Tony Bennett, Lena Horne and Peggy Lee.
One of the biggest compliments I've ever gotten is when Jack was asked during an interview which of the Schoolhouse Rock songs was the most fun to sing and he answered, "Energy." I guess I don't have to tell you who worte that one. Check out Jack's site.
